Plug and Play
The K1200LT unit is supplied with a special junction box for true plug-and-play installation in just minutes. The junction box supplies all necessary connections to the bike, including 12v power. The unit integrates the original BMW radio with the factory speed-dependent volume control, and will convert the K1200LT speaker system to the Baehr helmet speakers. Disconnect your helmet and the audio transfers back to the factory original external speakers. |

The K1200LT features a water resistant housing, 2.5mm sheet aluminum, rugged DIN connectors, and epoxy-potted electronics - all robustly built for the tough motorcycling environment. |

Prioritized Universal Interfaces
The K1200LT's four universal interfaces are fully wired and ready to accept any electronic audio device. System software automatically manages the priority of connected devices. You can freely choose, by changing the interfaces, which of the signals get priority. |

Bike-to-Bike Communications
Baehr supplies the appropriate adapter cables and a handlebar mounted push-to-talk to allow two or more individual motorcyclists to communicate with each other using any easily available 2-way FRS radio. |

Music/Audio Inputs
In addition to the audio from the factory sound system, you can connect an alternate audio device to any one of the Universal Interface cables. Baehr adapter cables accept any audio device with a 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack. You can connect an AM/FM radio, a CD or MD player, an MP3 player, or anything else you care to listen to. |

Individually Adjustable Intercom
Automatic Music Volume Suppression and Intercom Volume Suppression reduce music or voice levels for incoming priority signals. Continuous Wind Noise Suppression, Automatic Stepless Volume Control, and Individual Left-Right Volume Control are additional features built into this state-of-the-art system. |
